For now you are still allowed to ride your bike.
For now we are still allowed to fix your bike, and sell bikes.
We intend to proceed in a responsible way, so you will notice a few changes at the shop.
Please maintain the 2 metre (6feet 6") separation at all times, in the car park, and in the shop.
Only 1 customer will be allowed in at a time (if you are a cohabiting couple we will accommodate you both). Every visitor will be provided with protective gloves, they may not fit well, but please tolerate that for the duration of your visit.
Please maintain the 2 metre separation at all times when inside the shop.
If you are dropping off a bike for service, or repair, we will take possession of it from you in the car park. We will wrap the handlebars, and saddle in cling film, and the bike will be thoroughly washed before it is brought into the shop. We will wear gloves at all times, whilst servicing your bike, and it will be washed again immediately before collection. Please consider that it may still be wet, if you plan to put it into your car.
Please remove all bags and bottles from the bike.
We have a good stock of spares and tyres, and will continue to offer our service all the time that we are allowed to do so. If we are ordered to close whilst your bike is in the store we will not go against government advice to return your bike to you.
If you are test riding bikes we will ask you to wear protective gloves, as well as the usual safety wear.
Please park considerately. There are 5 parking bays, if you reverse your car to the wall. Please don't block 3-4 bays, or park on the pavement.
I hate rules as much as anyone, but they are necessary for everyone's safety. Please bear with us at this difficult time.
